The villa dates back to the 1400’s and with its chalky pink and sun-bleached peach facade stands out as one of the prettiest villas on Lake Como.
The internal and external spaces are carefully maintained, revealing the authenticity and history of this stunning property. The rooms are decorated with original marble and stone floors along with frescoed ceilings. The terraced lakeside gardens are immaculately maintained in an English style which is simple yet refined.
One the most breathtaking places to exchange vows is a wonderful terrace reached by walking along a tree-lined path and leading to a stunning panoramic view of the lake. Alternatively you can make a grand entrance by arriving directly by boat thanks to a private dock.
It is possible to spend the entire wedding outdoors as each garden and external space is well-proportioned with distinct characters, offering a choice of different atmospheres.
The most popular dining space is a terrace adjacent to the main villa, with statues and a stone stairway at the rear.
As an indoor alternative you can dine and dance under painted ceilings and sumptuous chandeliers.
The Villa does not offer accommodation but there are many options in the Cernobbio area where one can spend the night.
Rachel Birthistle and her team at “The Lake Como Wedding Planner” can advise you on the best solutions based on your personal requirements and budget, and can also organise services such as catering, assistance with paperwork, entertainment and photography.
Flying in from abroad the nearest airport is Milan Malpensa taking about 30/40 minutes to reach Cernobbio. The other options would be Milan Linate or Malpensa.
