Natural and unposed are the photographs taken by Kevin Scott-Wood.
You will barely notice he is there at all, while in fact he is carefully observing and capturing your story and the emotion of the day in a simple and natural style. Every click is taken with amazing attention, a sensitive touch, and without intrusion.
Taking inspiration from Sebastiao Salgado and Cartier Bresson, Kevin has developed into a Documentary Wedding Photographer: his style is all about anticipating and photographing decisive and emotive moments that are real, authentic, candid, natural and immediate. Kevin specifies that “whilst some styles can overlap, it is distinct say from fine art wedding photography which ‘creates’ a beautiful subjective reality, as opposed to something that is entirely objective”
A traveller since an early age and having lived in 3 different countries, Kevin feels very attached to Italy and associates it with fond personal memories and experiences. He considers Italy to be the perfect destination for a wedding: you are left in awe by the heady mix of architecture, art, landscape and style.
He loves travelling to different wedding destinations and has had “the privilege to witness, as well as document, lovely couples getting married in a truly special setting.” The results are compelling and emotional photographs that capture the love, laughter and tears from your big day, a leaves you with an album that you will treasure for a lifetime.
